Francis “Fritz” Weber : 1921 – 2008
Francis “Fritz” R. Weber, age 87, a resident of Albion, Indiana died suddenly on Saturday November 29, 2008 in the North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion.
Fritz was born July 6, 1921 in Jefferson, Ohio a son of the late Melvin Russell and Mytle (Hower) Weber. As a young child he moved with his family to Wolcottville, Indiana where he graduated from Wolcottville High School with the class of 1940, later serving his country during WWII with the US Navy. After his tour of duty with the Navy; he worked for the International Harvester Company as a welder for 20 years and also was a farmer.
He is survived by his children, John M. Weber of Albion, Indiana, Anita M. (Tim) Noland of Churubusco, Indiana, and 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Michael Weber on November 8, 2008 in Haines, Alaska, grandson Infant John Weber, brother Howard Weber and his sister Berdean Young.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. in the Sheets and Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco, Indiana with Pastor Timothy Grable officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. until service time. The US Navy Honors Unit will render military honors at the conclusion of the service in the funeral home.

Sorry to read of the passing of Fritz in today’s paper.
We will miss seeing him and his “friend” as he dorve by so many times.
