My deepest sympathy to Lewis’s family. I will always remeber my uncle coming to visit us in his state police uniform. It was a real thrill for a young boy to be visited by a state trooper. Uncle Lewis was always an example for us to follow. He will be sorely missed.

I had the privilege to work with Mr. Brown for several years as his tax professional. Mr. Brown always had insightful, thought provoking, and intelligent things to say as we’d discuss the world’s issues. I always looked forward to our time together.

To the family of Mr. Brown,

I am a new member of the whitley county amateur radio club and I understand that Mr. Brown was a charter member of our club and we would like to extend our deepest sympathy for your loss. We would like to send something on behalf of the club but may not be able to get it to you in time for the funeral is there an address where we could send something? Please email WB9LAF@yahoo.com

  7. Linda Zimmerman Says:

I want to extend my condolence in the earthly loss of your Dad. He (and your mother) were really great people and I’ll never forget their love and support to Whitley County Right to Life, especially in its beginnings.

And, on a more personal note, Jeanne, last September I ran into you in the hospital cafeteria when Max was in for knee replacement surgery. I think you were late (or almost late) getting back to work as we totally lost track of time in discussing our grandkids similar illnesses. I don’t know how to contact you and I’d love to be able to communicate with you. Perhaps the funeral director would be kind and share my e-mail address with you. I hope so. I look forward to receiving an e-mail from you.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
