My thoughts are with all of you as you deal with the loss of your father, brother and friend.
Evan, please know that we are here for you. I was able to see your dad a few weeks okay and started to ramble on and on about some memories I had of earlier times.
I remembered that when I was 17 he let me drive his jeep ( I think it was a jeep anyway it was a very cool car) when I had just gotten my license and no one else would let me drive. He trusted me and I never forgot that. I also remember your dad was a good listener and someone I could count on for wise and calm advice when I was young and at an impressional age. I can see this same grounded spirit in you, Evan, so your dad is living on through you. We love you tons!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Even though it has been numerous years since I’ve seen Lowell, I will always think of him fondly as helping Scott and I get our wonderful start when we moved to Colorado in 1982. Lowell was always so helpful with anything we needed, and also a lot of fun to have a beer with along the Boulder Creek! May he rest in peace.

To Evan and Lowell’s family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I knew Lowell when he and Evan’s Mom started dating in Ft. Wayne, (it seems like such a long time ago) and I always remember him as kind, friendly, and soft spoken. He was always welcoming when we showed up in Colorado to stay with them, even when I showed up with my first kid in tow. Evan, it is very hard to lose a parent, but you are blessed to have a large, loving, and supportive family to help you through this tough time. All our love. Beth,Tim,Sydney, and Dustin Gaylord

Condolences to Lowell’s family. I remember Lowell as a brother-in-law who took me in when I first moved to Colorado. He and Martha allowed me to share their apartment for far longer than most people would. I especially loved his sense of humor. He was obviously a great dad. I am happy that Lowell has found peace and comfort.

To all of Lowell’s siblings and in-laws, and especially to Evan, My sympathies go out to you. You have been through a lot these past few months. Lowell was lucky to have such a great bunch of family!!! I wish I could be there in body, but I will be there in spirit at least. Evan, I send out lots of love and we’ll see you when you get back.

Lowell was very generous with his time and abilities. He was a great friend and listener to all who came in contact with him. We will miss him but know where he now is and rejoice with Evan and the rest of the family in knowing we will see him again!
