Dear Family,
Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Shed many tears, as they heal as they flow. We hope you gain comfort from these words:
Life is eternal, and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon;
and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.

Melissa, Aunt Mary Ellen, Paul, & JoEllen
Mom called me tonight and told me about Mary Catherine. I was so sorry to learn of her death on Monday. She is the first of the 29 Clemmer grandchildren to pass away. I have many great memories of my Wisniewski cousins; Chirstmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Clemmers, visiting the Wisniewski home on Plaza Drive, camping, weddings, and reunions. I wish that I could be there for the funeral service but time and distance will not permit it. Please know that I will be keeping you and Mary Catherine in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
Take Care!

Dear Melissa, Aunt Mary Ellen, Paul, and Joellen,
I learned from my sister Teresa that Mary Catherine has been taken to the Lord. Most recently, in December, I had learned from my mother, Rita, how weakened Mary Catherine’s voice was over the phone, so I was very conscious of her state and was mindful of her in my thoughts and prayers, as also was my wife, Jane. The two of us visited at Round Lake in 1997 and in 2007 when we were in the States from Malta; and more recently, in October 2009, I had the opportunity of the family’s comfort, and to be with Mary Catherine, Melissa, and Mary Ellen particularly in person and in my thoughts, at my father’s funeral Mass. Today, on Thursday, we will be mindful of the entire family; and being familiar with the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Ege, I will participate with your sorrow, but also in the joyful knowledge that Mary Catherine’s long suffering has come to and end, at last, even though she will be sorely missed. May eternal peace be hers.

Mary Ellen and Joellen and Paul, I am so happy for Mary Catherine, yet so sad for you. Hearing this news brought back so many happy memories of your family visiting ours in Idaho. I still have letters from my pen-pal Joellen, and pictures of you all. God bless each of you-especially Melissa
