Chris, Tanya and Morgan,
Where to begin. Tanya, you know how much you and your family always meant to our family. Just over 2 1/2 years ago, I remember my dear friend Tanya being there for our family when we lost our precious husband and father. Tanya you were one of my “rocks” in our time of need. Throughout this time you have watched over me, guided me and loved me and the kids. I have known you folks for several years. We have watched your girls grow into outstanding young women, accomplished athletes and scholars. They couldn’t have done it without having such fine parents as you two. Just as God chose you to be her parents, he chose her to be your daughter. You had an important assignment with raising your girls. And you did it with love, endurance, guidance from our God. Your love for your daughters is unconditional. I can’t tell you enough what outstanding parents you have been and will continue to be for Morgan. Please know that no matter how big and how hard our pain is, God is there. He is there even when we don’t think he is. Your community surrounds you with our love and prayers. You are on so many prayer chains. Your family is so admired by so many. You always made your girls an important priority and you have so with all the students at Smith-Green Community Schools. You are ones that we love and admire. You are always giving to those who have a need. Now, its our turn to try to give back to you our dear friends. Our hearts are aching right with yours. We have always loved your daughters like they were our own. I can’t answer your why’s? But I can share in loving and lifting you up in prayer. I pray that as you go through these next few days that God will surround you with his love and carry you through this. And just know that he really does. We love you all so very much. May our Heavenly Father give you rest and peace now and always. Please use our friendships to help you through difficult time. We all owe you! Please remember the story of Jesus when he was out in the boat with his disciples. The storm arose and Jesus walked out onto the water and called Peter out to him onto the dangerous waters, while the others were too fearful to trust Jesus. When Peter trusted Jesus he could walk on the water. When he doubted our Lord, Peter began to sink. It is much better to be on the waves with Jesus than to be on that boat without him.

Praying for you…..
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again . . . that where I am, there ye may be also.
With God there are no endings, only endless beginnings
May the Lord’s precious promises bring you strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
Verse: I Corinthians 2:9
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.
The journey into God’s presence requires a departure, and that brings sorrow for those who remain. But what joy to think of your loved one’s arrival into the very arms of a loving Heavenly Father.
WIth caring thoughts of sympathy.

Chris, Tanya, and Morgan,
My heart sank as I listened to the late news cast last night and heard of this accident. My mind immediately thought of you and then I saw Megan’s picture and I knew this had to be your daughter. I have experienced loss, but not the loss of a child. This is a tragedy that seemingly transcends any words of sympathy or comfort that I might offer. But, Tanya, I remember you as a woman of faith, expressed in many conversations we had during my tenure at Churubusco Elementary School. So, I will pray that you and your family’s path to peace will be made possible because of that abiding faith, the blessed assurance that God, who began a good work in Megan, has brought it to completion according to His good and perfect will, and the love and support of family and friends. Know that I am only a phone call away. With a heavy heart, Mrs. Thies (former Principal at CES)

Even though we may not know the reason, but God has a plan for everything and is in control. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Chris, Tanya, and Morgan,
Please know and be assured that a God of love does not rip our children from our grasps. It was an accident. (Ecclesiastes 9:11) God is love (1 John 4:8) and does not try us with evil things. (James 1:13) He has promised a resurrection for all who have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28,29) to life on a paradise earth for eternity (Ps. 37:10,11,29) under the Kingdom rulership of his son, Jesus Christ. We have all been taught to pray for this Kingdom to come. (Matt. 6:10) May it happen soon. We love you and include you in our prayers daily.

Chris, Tanya & Morgan,
We were simply devastated when we heard the news of Megan. We watched her grow up from a small child into a beautiful young lady. There was always a smile and wave from a distance. Please know that our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. If there is anything that we can do for your family during your time of need, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Love,
Jeri & Jerry Brown
