Nancy, Scott, Heather, Todd and Chad,
What a great loss you all are experiencing. Nancy and Paul were members of the same Sunday School class as my parents. I’ll always remember Paul’s smile every Sunday morning. It could brighten any room. He was a man of honor and leaves a legacy that you all should be very proud of. Stay close and lean on eachother. And know that you have many people who continue praying for you.

To the family. Sorry for your loss of such a super brother in the WORD. Memories of Promise Keepers and the trip to Frankenmuth come to my mind which enriched our relationship. These are happenings we celebrate during a time of grief. Wish I could pay my respects in person, but cannot. Len

Nancy and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me”. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the Best.

Nancy and family;
Thad and I wish to convey our sincere sympathy to you. From all that we have heard of Paul, he was a good man and loved by all. We know that he will be missed by you, but we know he is in a far greater place than we. You are in our continued thoughts and prayers.

Nancy, Scott, Heather, Tood and Chad,
Lois and I were deeply saddened by the loss of Paul. I have known him as one of the cousins on the Porter side of my family for my entire 58 years. We could certainly tell you people had put a lot of thought into the funeral and it was a great thing as a final tribute to Paul’s great life. I noticed my father picuted in at least one of the slides on the DVD that was played at the church. While I was not born at the time it was taken, I remember my parents talking about going to Bay de Noc, Michigan (near Gladstone, MI) with Edith, Ben and Paul when he was a small child. The picture I am referencing shows Ben and Paul near some boats at a lake setting, the other person standing in the picture wearing a helmet type sun hat is my father. I particularly enjoyed the words from Larry Smith and Lois and I also had the pleasure of sharing lunch and conversation with him back at the church. What a super guy Larry is to be sure. I remembered him doing Edith’s funeral and he sure has a way with words that seem to be very appropriate at times like these.
May God bless and keep your family strong and together.
