Our hearts are broken, but our hope remains strong and confident. He who began a good work has been faithful to complete it in Terry.

We know this, that our Lord is good, and does good, for our good. We pray for solace, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

Our only comfort in life and death remains that Terry was not his own, but belongs to his faithful Saviour Jesus Christ.

  4. Kristy Tipton Rawles Says:

My thoughts and prayers are with your family today and the days to come, dealing with a loss of a loved one is never easy but knowing they are in the arms of God now makes things a little easier for everyone to deal with it. And he will be there forever to watch over each and every one of you as you go through the rest of your lives. When my sister got taken from us in 95 there was only one person that I wanted to speak at her funeral and that was Rev. Zolman, he was such a sweetheart to all of us that were friends with Tera growing up and treated us just like one of his own kids and I really respected him for that and that stayed with me all these years, so at the time I really needed his help the most….he was there for me and I will never forget that. He was just simply a wonderful, caring man and he will forever be missed.

I’ve known Terry my whole life. When we were both young folks Terry was always faithful to God and spoke highly of Him. I’ve noticed Terry always has the highest things to say about God. Praise the Lord that Terry is with him today and not in any pain. He is fellowshipping with his daddy, Clyde, and all who went on before. I pray for Terry’s family to have peace and comfort. I know this is a difficult time for you all, but rest assured Terry is in Heaven rejoicing for the God he has always served.

  9. Cliff Pappe Says:

    Julie and family,

All of you have been in our families prayers. As I look back on my years groing up in MCC, each of you had an impact in my faith. One of my favorite memories of your dad is of helping with VBS and sitting in his office as he explained the various games we would be doing each day. I consider it an honor to have been baptized by such a gifted teacher and preacher and to giving me a firm Biblical foundation for my own faith.

    Praying for you,

  10. Ann Buffenbarger Andresen Says:

    Julie and Family

Our thoughts and prayers have been with all of you during the past few days. Pastor Terry was such a giving person always thinking of others before himself. It will be hard to walk into Merriam Christian Chapel and not see him standing in the Pulpit.

He was so wonderful to our Dad, Wilbur Buffenbarger. I can still see Dad’s huge smile, just days before Dad passed away, when Pastor Terry knocked on the door and came in. I am sure that Dad, as well as many others, are smiling and opening their arms to welcome Pastor Terry into their midst.

May it comfort you in knowing that Pastor Terry has completed his earthly journey, he is now working with his Father in Heaven, and he is rejoicing along with the other lucky ones who have gone before us.

Savior & are with him face to face
May we live as Pastor Terry admonished us to try
to live in as he taught us & he & his families
    lived it for us
Many in the world are now lifting up more positive
thoughts than most of us ever imagined could be
possible as our prayers nearly bleed out of us
for each of the many saints who are now realizing
how much one shepherd can be loved
These are certainly the deepest sympathies most of
us will ever continue to lift up because of the
certainties we can feel so very deeply for one of
the ultimate Christ followers who seemed always to
be running as fast as he could mentally toward the
only One who gave His sinnless all for us
