  6. Efford and Sara Hamilton Says:

Our deepest sympathy goes to the family of Roger. Efford worked with Roger at GE and we stopped in to visit a couple times while passing your house. We are now in Florida, but I read the “local” newspapers daily. Both the Fort Wayne Journal and the Huntington Herald-Press. Roger is no longer in pain and is in a much better place. Take the fact that God is watching over all of you now and will only deal you what he feels you can handle. It will get easier, but it does take a long, long time. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.

    Efford and Sara

  7. Jeff and Michelle Chaplin Says:

    Pat, Doug and Chris,

Our deepest sympathies on your loss. I remember Roger’s love for baseball during the years Doug and I played to together in Little League. Now that my wife and I have children, Roger’s example of how to be an active and involved parent serve as a model of how to guide and mold our children takes on a special significance. Although I have not seen you all for many years, I treasure the memories of the countless hours spent at the baseball diamond together.
My wife’s father passed away 2 months ago so the feelings and emotions that you are experiencing are fresh in our minds. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult. May God bless your family.

  10. Marguerite Gebhart Coffield Says:

    Dear Patty, Doug, and Chris,

One of my only memories of Roger was when we were sitting in your kitchen and Roger brough our some kind of (homemade I think?)white lightening or moonshine. Roger got quite a kick as he watched my face turn beet red & as my throat was on fire. It was too much for me. I had been praying for Roger and you because my father told me on Easter, but God doesn’t always answer the way we would like. I do pray God comforts you and brings peace to your hearts.

    Love to you,

    Marguerite Gebhart Coffield
